And now for a little something different…videos! I feel the creative spark run through me the most in two particular places: in my car and in the shower.
(I'm not going to be posting any shower videos anytime soon.)
In this first video, I discuss my inspiration around leading The Yoga of Love with Cheryl Deer.
I also share this Rumi quote:
"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."
I absolutely adore this quote because it implies that love is everywhere and when we don't feel it, it's because of something inside us that is blocking it. All we need is to bring healing to those places and love will rush right in. Give the video a watch.
In this next video, you'll get a taste of Cheryl Deer (my Yoga of Love co-pilot) and her teachings on self love as a way of serving the world.
This is beautiful. She speaks briefly about how to get nourished on your yoga mat and how to give to yourself so fully that you overflow and can serve the world. Watch the video here:
And finally, this last video showcases the heart explosion that happened for me after taking a yoga class with Cheryl and then meeting with her to plan our workshops.
In this video, I'm particularly on fire about my mission and purpose in the world: to be a teacher of love.
So, give this one a watch and open your heart to this message of love and compassion. Especially pay attention to the part about what's really going on when we're not loving ourselves, what's under it, and how to heal it.
Did you enjoy these teachings on love? Leave me a comment below with your thoughts and check back for my response.
And as always, thank you for sharing this on social media.
The Yoga of Love starts this Sunday, August 10 in Boulder and Cheyl and I hope to see you there!
With heartfelt love,
P.S. If you're someone who values teachings on love, you'll want to be sure you don't miss out on my future posts.
